Ternyata acara #jazzkini malam itu mendapat sambutan yang luar biasa baik dari para tamu yang mayoritas pecinta musik, dukungan juga datang dari kedutaan italia yang menjadi supporter mereka, juga dari perwakilan uni eropa turut hadir malam itu.

Marco Vezzoso

Marco is a jazz trumpeter born in Alba (Italy). He graduated from the Conservatory of Turin and attended numerous master classes with some of the most famous Italian and European trumpet players.

For six years he has lived in France where he is professor of jazz trumpet at the National Conservatory of Nice. Since 2018 it is also an official endorser of the Swiss brand SPADA, artisan manufacturer of high quality trumpets and flugelhorns. Over the years he has performed in the most important European festivals as a leader, sideman, arranger, director of big band, conductor of various ensembles, between jazz and classic music. In 2014 he recorded his first album as a leader “Jazz à porter”, containing original songs, published by the Milan label Map and distributed by Egea. He actively collaborates with the Italy’s National broadcasting companyRAI of Rome for which he composes the song “Resta in camera Bi “, theme song of the program “Tra Poco in Edicola” broadcasted by Radio RAI

1. In 2015, the Japanese label Davinci Editions records and publishes his concert held in Osaka, with distribution Egea. To promote this latest album and his musical universe, between August and September 2017 the artist, accompanied by pianist Alessandro Collina, made a tour of Cambodia, Indonesia and Japan for a total of 16 concerts.

After having won acclaim abroad with his refined jazz, the trumpet player publishes a new album in March 2018, entitled “Guarda che Luna … Again”(Davinci Edition/Egea); a journey through the great classics of Italian melody that Marco Vezzoso has revisited in jazz, at the request of the Japanese label that publishes it. During 2018, for the promotion of this his album and thanks to the partnership with the brands “Spirit Torino” and “Spada Music”, his “Guarda che Luna Tour” has reached several cities in France, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia and Czech Republic, enjoying excellent results criticism.As for news, the latest project by Vezzoso is the new album of unpublished works “14.07 du Côté de l’Art”. Edited and distributed by EGEA in 2019, the disk is structured in a double CD; the first containing original music and the second music and poetic texts dedicated to the Nice terrorist massacre of 14 July 2016.

Alessandro Collina
Alessando took his first piano lessonsfrom his uncle and teacher Maestro
Ubaldo Giardini, hethen continuedunder the guidance of Gianmaria Bonino. Achieving diploma in classical piano at the conservatory of La Spezia (Italy).
Afterwards he attended several stages on improvisation and
eventually enroll in the class of jazz piano at the Conservatory of
Nice (France). He successfully graduated and at the same time he
played in several ensambles among which the “Conte Big Band”
directed by Giampaolo Casati and, from 2003, in the Italian
quartet led by trombonist Luca Begonia. He then collaborated with
various artists like Gianni Basso, Emanuele Cisi, Claudio Capurro,
David Amar. From 2006 to 2008 he performed as steady member
of Paul Jeffrey’s Europe Tour group, also recording in 2009 for
Imago Records the CD “We See”, a Thelonius Monk tribute. In the
same year he began his collaboration with Andy Gravish and Mike
Campagna by creating the project “5AM”, the CD has been released
in 2011 and distributed by Anticraft. In 2009 he was invited by
brothers Luis and Philippe Petrucciani to take part in a tour for the
tenth anniversary of the demise of Michel Petrucciani. In this
occasion he had the opportunity to stage in some of the most well
known Italian Jazz. Finally in 2010 he participated in an important
live concert across Italy and France in collaboration with trumpeter Fabrio Bozzo.
